The rate and duration of the evaluation is based on the referral question, age of the child, complexity of testing, instruments required for testing, etc.

Evaluation duration is highly variable however Acorn implements a value-based pricing structure for all psychological assessments, rather than charging per hour. This approach minimizes uncertainty regarding the total cost of the evaluation. Testing is completed in person.

• Targeted testing for Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Learning Disability or differential diagnoses (including specialties in Autism and ADHD presentations in girls, “Twice Exceptionality”, OCD, anxiety, depression, explosive or “oppositional” behaviors, explanation for PDA-type profile and trauma)

• Psychoeducational evaluation (concerns for learning, dyslexia or other academic skills)

• Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE)

• Private school entrance testing

• University accommodations testing

• Developmental testing in infancy and toddlerhood
