An evaluation at Acorn typically follows a 4-step process:

  1. Consultation

  2. Intake

  3. Evaluation

  4. Feedback Session

  • Consultation to discuss whether Acorn services are an appropriate fit for your needs.

    • 15 minutes (virtual or in-person)

    • Free

  • Intake appointment targeted at gathering developmental information about your child, as well as your goals and hopes for this evaluation.

    • 60-90 minutes (virtual or in person)

    • $275

  • The rate and duration of the evaluation is based on the referral question, age of the child, complexity of testing, instruments required for testing, etc.

Evaluation duration is highly variable however Acorn implements a value-based pricing structure for all psychological assessments, rather than charging per hour. This approach minimizes uncertainty regarding the total cost of the evaluation.

    Prices vary ($2250-$3995)
