Dr. Alex Reed

PsyD

Dr. Reed founded Acorn due to her passion for providing gold standard, evidence-based and strengths-based care for patients and families. She is driven to help families come together over struggles, and on a mission to de-stigmatize the [diagnostic] label. She believes that gathering information about a child can help families understand behaviors and take action to support them.

Dr. Reed’s focus at Acorn is diagnostic clarity of neurodevelopmental disorders including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities (e.g., dyslexia, dyscalculia), Intellectual Disability, Developmental Delay, as well as OCD, PDA-profiles, Anxiety, Depression and co-occurring diagnoses for infants through young adults.
